Dr. Samer G. Zammar is a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in complex spinal reconstruction and minimally invasive spine surgery. He completed his fellowship at UCSF Medical Center and a Neurosurgical Oncology Fellowship at Penn State Health. His expertise extends to neurosurgical oncology, minimally invasive spine surgery, and complex spinal reconstruction.
He earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship. Additionally, he obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a certificate in Healthcare Management and Policy from Benedictine University.
Dr. Zammar is recognized for his leadership and academic contributions, having served as Co-Director of the Biostatistics and Evidence-Based Medicine Course at Penn State Health. He is actively involved in advancing neurosurgical oncology, spinal deformities, and minimally invasive techniques.
