Lelys Rivera is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Neurosurgery at IGEA Brain and Spine. She completed her undergraduate studies in Exercise Science at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, followed by a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Seton Hall University. During PA school clinical rotations, she gained experience in multiple specialties, including neurosurgery, which sparked her passion for the field. With six years of previous EMS experience, including work with RWJBH, she treated a diverse range of patients in fast-paced, high-acuity settings, enhancing her clinical judgment, adaptability, and ability to manage complex conditions. With over 3,000 clinical hours, she has refined her ability to assess and manage diverse conditions in neurosurgery, collaborating closely with physicians to provide exceptional care.
